D&B has been actively engaged in a number of sustainable design projects. It is D&B’s goal to approach each project with the U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) programs in mind. With our LEED-accredited staff, it is our goal to design buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and which enhance our living and working environments.
D&B’s core architectural group has many years of experience working with the New York State Education Department (SED), as well as local school districts such as Wallkill Central School District, Pearl River Union Free School District, Spackenkill Union Free School District, and Arlington Central School District. We also provide architectural services for many of our municipal clients such as the Rockland County Sewer District, Southwest Sewer District No. 1, and Albertson Water District. Our team is intimately familiar with all applicable codes and design criteria such as LEED, ANSI/ASHRAE, NFPA, NIOSH, IAQ, BOCA, EPA Guidelines, SMACNA, ACGIH, NAAQS, ASTM, ACGIH and NYS and Federal Energy Codes, and are continually educated on the latest technologies and industry innovations.
