Geotechnical Construction Inspector

Full-time position available for qualified Geotechnical Construction Inspector for NYCDEP Gilboa Dam and Facilities rehabilitation project in Gilboa, NY.

Qualifications for this inspection position include a minimum 5 years field construction experience in drilling, installation, grouting and testing of PTA’s, working knowledge of soil properties and compaction, ACI, NICET and/or PTI certification(s), excellent oral and written English language communication skills, computer literacy with knowledge of DEP construction management a plus.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer with 3-5 years power and control system design experience. Candidate should have experience in the preparation of plans and specifications related to power distribution, lighting and controls. Necessary skills include the use of AutoCad and knowledge of the requirements of the National Electrical Code. Experience with municipal projects and construction observation is a plus. The position requires good writing and communication skills, and a B.S. in electrical engineering.
