D&B has senior staff members who have substantial regulatory experience with the federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Their permitting experience covers a diversity of wastewater, storm water, solid waste and hazardous waste activities and facilities requiring approvals from various agencies. These agencies have included the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), and other environmental agencies in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
The types of technical permitting activities and services provided by D&B in support of environmental reviews and approvals include: site inspections; data gathering and field investigations; pre-application conferences; emissions/discharge inventories; process operations review; air, water and soil sampling and monitoring; impact analyses and modeling; threshold determinations; determination of applicability and exemptions; engineering reports; presentations at permit hearings; negotiations with citizens groups; requests for permit modifications; and post permit activities and studies.
