Dvirka and Bartilucci Consulting Engineers (D&B) established its place as a leader in the area of Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs) in 1983, when it originated the concept of Integrated Solid Waste Management, and demonstrated the importance of MRFs to the success of integrated solid waste management systems.
