Our remedial construction inspection teams have specific experience in hazardous waste site investigations and are, therefore, thoroughly familiar with investigation protocols and methodologies as it relates to meeting the performance standards for remediation of a site.

Office support for the remedial construction inspection team is a key element in completing a project on time and within budget. Project scheduling, contractor submittal review, claims prevention, shop drawing review, operation and maintenance (O&M) manual preparation, as built drawing review, change order review, regulatory interface, and start-up and training services are essential components of a successful remedial construction process. The support provided by the office component of the team allows for a seamless progress in the field by the remedial construction inspectors.

Critical to the successful completion of any construction phase services assignment is complete familiarity with the design specifications and performance goals established for the project in question. Given that, the members of our inspection team are experienced in the preparation and review of contract documents, drawings and specifications. Examples of remedial construction projects for which D&B has provided inspection services include landfill closure and capping, groundwater extraction and treatment, air sparging and soil vapor extraction, active and passive vapor control and treatment, waste and contaminated soil removal, oxygen reducing compound application, UST removal and in-situ chemical oxidation.
