Dvirka and Bartilucci Consulting Engineers (D&B) has successfully assisted its clients in the start-up, management and expansion of numerous recycling programs serving over 5 million residents in total. D&B has promoted recycling as a key element in integrated solid waste management programs through its planning and design services, as well as through its staff’s participation in recycling organizations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, and appointments to various task forces to recommend statewide strategies for the expansion of recycling.

D&B's waste reduction program designs are tailored to commercial, municipal and residential settings. Waste reduction targets are established based upon audits of waste generation practices and composition.
