D&B Selected for Bridgeport CSO Project

Dvirka and Bartilucci Consulting Engineers (D&B) has been selected by the Water Pollution Control Authority of the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut, to provide design services for Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Project H, including analysis and design forstorm and/or sanitary sewers in two sewersheds (41 and 43). These sewersheds are a high-priority for the reduction of CSO discharges which also may result in the elimination of two regulators and two outfalls. D&B’s responsisibilities will include a peer review study of the related Facility Plan 2000 Report, survey and mapping, subsurface investigation and geotechnical engineering, evaluation of environmental impacts, preliminary design, and final design.
